Recently I participated in an intellectual olympiad run by one of the universities. And in one of the directions I won- I got a full ride on spring school(3nights). I got information just few minutes ago, and im already broken down, because i know one of my parent is never accepting to letting me go somewhere else on my own, even for a day. Its so bad that its almost embarrassing. I know that they will not let me go to spring school, and im mentally shooken now- since it took me a lots of work, years of studying and I just have to throw it away. I feel like no matter how hard I will work it'll never be better, what else am I supposed to believe? Im so lost.
