One Week Off, A Lifetime On

It’s been a full week without working out — and not gonna lie, I started feeling a bit guilty. My routine took a pause because my sister, who I hadn’t seen in years, came to visit. And honestly? That time together was precious.

But as the guilt crept in, I reminded myself: I am my own limit.
Missing a few workouts doesn’t erase the progress I’ve made. It doesn’t make me weak, lazy, or less committed. It just means life happened — and sometimes, life brings moments that matter even more than the grind.

What does matter is showing up again. Reclaiming my momentum. Choosing myself over and over again. Progress isn’t about perfection — it’s about consistency, resilience, and grace.

As for my body… it’s a work in progress. Results aren’t coming as fast as some influencers make it seem — and that can feel discouraging sometimes. But this is my journey. My pace. My body. And even if I don’t see drastic changes overnight, I’m still showing up. Still committed. Still believing in the vision I have for myself.

Because one day, I will get the body I dream of — not just from the workouts, but from the consistency, the mindset, and the self-love I’m building along the way.

This is not about being perfect. So here I am, not starting over — just continuing. And if you needed a sign to forgive yourself, reset, and keep going… this is it.

You’ve got this. We’ve got this.
