I saw a girl online trying acrylic markers and giving her very honest reaction about one of those childhood brands you don’t find everywhere.  I had tried another brand before and absolutely hated them they were dry, the colours weren’t working, and I just gave up on them. 

But while travelling, I happened to find the same brand she was using, so I thought… okay, let me give them one more chance. And don't ask why I was in a stationary shop while travelling, I just found myself there! 😄

And honestly? The acrylics turned out pretty good! I still need practice, but... I used to be such a sketch girl,.. pencils, colouring pencils, and markers… Then I moved on to canvases, watercolours and acrylic paints, so it honestly feels nice to go back to something I used to do .

So, Sometimes it really is worth trying a recommendation you see online, especially when you can tell the person is genuinely being honest about their experience. If she hadn’t shared her "real" reaction while drawing, I probably wouldn’t have trusted the recommendation enough to try them again. 

Funny how people travel and come back with valuable things… I came back with art supplies! 😂🎨 and yeah they are the only thing I bought in addition to the fridge magnets!
