But caught an opossum instead! 

Ok no one told me how cute these guys are up close! We had a raccoon recently that had babies in our back yard. One of the babies was limping and acting like it was sick so we tried to trap it to take it up to the raccoon rehab. Well first we caught it's brother and were able to remove him. The next night..... we caught Ophelia the opossum by accident along with all of her babies. 

How amazing are her tiny hands and fingers, fingerprints and all! Did you know opossum carry their babies like kangaroos in their pouch?

Me being my wife's hero at the end releasing Ophelia 💜💪
