In a large/wide bowl, whisk to combine milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange zest, orange juice, stevia and vanilla extract.
Taste the sauce, and adjust sweetness if necessary. Then add an egg in it and mix well.
Slice bread into thick slices then into sticks.
Soak the bread sticks in the custard sauce for about 2-5 minutes.
Heat up oil in a non-stick skillet over low to medium heat.
Then pop the bread sticks on the pan and fry each side until it turns slightly brown!
Turn the bread sticks until each side is well cooked.
Plate up your french toast sticks and top them off with yogurt, fruits and maple syrup or homemade nutella!
