Heat up a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add bacon and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy.
Remove bacon from skillet and reserve the rendered fat on skillet. Crack in an egg and fry until desired doneness over medium heat. You can use a lightly greased egg ring to help keep it a round shape if you like.
Make spicy ketchup by mixing together sriracha and ketchup in a small bowl until combined.
Spread half of the spicy ketchup on one slice of High Protein Bread. Place bacon, egg, and the rest of the spicy ketchup on top. Top with the second slice of bread. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
I recommend my 90-Second GF High Protein Bread for this recipe, but feel free to use any other high protein bread roll you like to suit your dietary preferences.
I like using shortcut bacon as it’s a much leaner cut, but feel free to use any cut your prefer. You may also substitute bacon with lean leg ham.
Cook egg to your desired doneness. Cook it for less time if you like the yolk runny.
