These no-bake peanut butter chocolate chip protein balls are the perfect gluten-free, dairy-free vegan treats for a quick snack or breakfast on-the-go. Only 6 ingredients required, and no need for protein powder!

80g rolled oats
125g natural peanut butter
9 tbsp ground flaxseed
3 tbsp maple syrup
30g sugar-free chocolate chips
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
In a large mixing bowl, add rolled oats and ground flaxseed and mix until combined.
Add peanut butter and maple syrup to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds or until peanut butter has melted. Add mixture to rolled oats along with vanilla extract. Mix very well until combined.
Mix in chocolate chips.
Using your hands, shape mixture into small balls.
Enjoy right away or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
The balls will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 1 week or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
When shaping them into balls, you can use a measuring spoon to scoop the mixture to keep all the balls the same size.
To make these completely sugar-free, substitute maple syrup with a sugar-free syrup.
Feel free to substitute peanut butter with any other nut or seed butter of choice.
I used a mixture of sugar-free dark and white chocolate chips but feel free to use whatever you have on hand instead. Other add-in’s such like chopped nuts or dried fruit would also be nice!
